What exactly is the requestprocessor in struts?

I typed "struts requestprocessor" into Google. If you want a detailed description, then the first hit has details on the internals of RequestProcessor (look at the section titled " How a Request is Processed"): http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2004/11/10/ExtendingStruts.html

If you want a one sentence answer, then the Struts JavaDoc page that turned up as the second hit has a good one: "RequestProcessor contains the processing logic that the Struts controller servlet performs as it receives each servlet request from the container."
