Just wanted to let you know that an excellent Struts tutorial - actually the whole book "Struts Design and Programming: A Tutorial", as also two other books, on Java 5 and Java 6, have appeared online at the website Jtute.com created by the books' author, Budi Kurniawan. I have bought his Struts book a year ago while working on my dissertation. I wanted to learn Struts quickly and build a few test projects using this framework. My previous knowledge of struts was almost nonexistent. Although Sun Microsystems' manual "Web Components Development With Servlet and JSP(TM) Technologies", given to me in the university, has two chapters on Struts development, the author of these chapters failed to explain what Struts is and what to do with it. The only thing in which he succeeded is that he repeated a number of times: "Struts is not a trivial framework!". The Kurniawan's book is completely different. Reading it, you will find yourself building Struts applications in a few hours, and by the end of this book you will have a rather advanced knowledge of Struts. In short, this book helped me enormously. And now you can have it for free, online. Enjoy it!
