Since there is no way of avoiding the 'mandatory training' to be a certified Enterprise Architect I was wondering if I could take the Training after I finish with the other three parts

Could I take the following in the order

1.Finish the exam
2.Finish the assignment
3.Finish the Essay
4.Take one of their Training courses .

By doing this I could atleast avoid paying the money if I get disinterested in the middle ?

I looked at the requirements for the exam but could not get information on the order . Below is the site that I looked for info

Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect

Please let me know if you have any information

Yes. Oracle has been very clear that you can take the three parts and then the training. It is not clear if you will get a part 2 or 3 score, but you can certainly submit and then take the course.

Hi,

I got a reply from oracle education center saying there is no order to complete the exams.

My question:

Hi,
I am Sadanandam Kurapati and I would like to take up "Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect" certification. As you are aware we need to go through the instructed led TRAINING program(mandatory) for this certification. Is it possible to first complete Part I, II and III of SCEA and then go for the training program? Is the following flow acceptable?

Part I --> Part II --> Part III --> TRAINING --> Complete the Course Submission Form

Reply from Oracle Center:

Hi Sadanandam,

Please note there is no set order to complete the exams and the Hands-on course requirement. However you will not receive a certificate from Oracle until you complete all the required exams/assignment and fulfill the Hands on requirement within the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification track.

Regards,
OCP Team

Regards,
Sadanand

What benefit is there in the course if you can complete the exams first?

If you can pass without a course, I don't know why they insist you have to go on a course

I'm not going on no course & not going to bother becoming an Architect as a result
