This is not at all realistic. A real Congressman would never decide to form the committee himself, based on first-hand observation; instead, it would happen only at the urging of foreign lobbyists or a PAC made up of psychotic wolverines.

In a way, then, this is actually better than real life.

personally, I think this election, we should vote out everyone in Congress. I don't care which party they are in, just vote them out.
