Hi all,
Firstly - if I'm in the wrong place I apolgise - point me in the right direction...
Ok, Glassfish 3 and I'm connected using a connection pool to Oracle RAC. Haven't got the connection string to hand, but it has Failover, 2 servers etc... and the Oracle DBAs say it looks good. We've had no issues until today when the cluster bounced - unfortunately the application (using EJB via TopLink) didn't bounce and kept trying the old node.
Is there a simple setting I'm missing? I've googled and read a lot today without much success - I did come across ONS, something about a listener that Oracle will call to notify the application of an issue so it can drop the connection - does this sound like what I need?
Any advice, links very gratefully received.
Cheers,
G
