Can't see com ports with Netbeans IDE

Dear Sirs,

I have this fragment of code:

CommPortIdentifier id_port;
id_port = CommPortIdentifier.getPortIdentifier("COM1"); // OR ALSO COM2
misc.getString("title"), JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
}catch(NoSuchPortException np){
int k = 6; // row useful only to set a breakpoint for debug

If I run the project under Netbeans (v. 6.9.1) the COM1 is not found.
Instead, if I build the project and run it from command line the COM1 is regularly found.

How I can avoid this strange behaviour of Netbeans (It seems as Netbeans hides all ports on my computer)

Than you very much
