I've searched, but really have no idea if this is even possible.

I am working on an application. There will be 10 QR codes that I generate. When one of these 10 QR codes are scanned, I need my application to open with the knowledge of what code was scanned.

Does that make sense?

(a simplified example) :
Qr code #1, when scanned opens the application and the screen prints "Frank".

Qr #2, when scanned opens the application and prints "Upfront".

Is this possible? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

cheers!

ok...so new problem.

Can I set up a QR code so that if someone scans it from barcode scanner it goes to the market, but if they scan it from bar code scanner via an intent in my app, it just passes a text value?
