Date validation with XSD

Below is the line from my xsd file and i want to check whether the date is after Jan 2008 in XML, if the date is before Jan 2008 then my xsd should catch that.
Is there a way we can do this with xsd ? because i have searched a lot to find this but no luck. can you guys help me here ?
