Hey people, i'm new here and also at android programming, right now i'm studying this at college. The thing is i have to give a speech about Android and it's basic OS specs. I've searched all over the web but couldn't find enough information, and even some of it was too technical for me. So what I wanted to ask is if someone could give a tip on where to find info about this. Basically what I need is info about Memory, Filesystem and Process Management. On Process Management, the most important topic is 'Concurency'.
I'm sorry if this forum is not really for this, but i'll really apreciate if someone could help.
What do you mean by "specs"? Android is an operating system, not any particular hardware. Its various versions run on any number of different devices - smartphones, tablets, Google TV, etc.
As to concurrency, Android does implement the java.util.concurrency package - is that what you're asking about?

I know there are various versions of Android, an also a diversity of platforms. I'm just looking for some general information about those topics:
-How Android manages memory
-Which filesystem it uses
-How Android manages procesing
-How does it resolve 'Concurency' problems
I know it's not easy information to find, that's why it so difficult for me to investigate about this.

I don't know that there is a site that describes those matters in detail; maybe check out some of the available Android books.
Fundamentally, Android is Linux, so if you install a Terminal app on an Android device you should be able to find out some of the Unix-ish stuff from the command shell.
