How to run a exe file from my browser

Hi All,
I have a exe placed in server.
Now i need to execute that exe in my local system.Is it possible to run that exe through applet?
If not possible through applet then how can i do it?

Please help me..

Put a link to that executable on a web page, have the user click on that, and then let him/her deal with installation and running.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually i have a flash exe file.When it is executed it should show some option a quiz kind of thing.
My requirement is to to execute that exe file and show the quiz to all the users.

Hm. Not sure what a "Flash exe" file is; I take it it can't be embeded in a web page like regular Flash content?
