Hi everyone,

I am new to Struts.I am facing a problem with logic:iterate tag.

In the jsp page i m iterating thro an arraylist of bean using logic iterate tag. This is used to represent set of records of table in the database. While retrieving the data this is working fine.

When i again try to edit some of the values in the text box, my form bean is not holding the new values, but still retails the old values.

How can i solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to JavaRanch Muralitharan.

I can't find any problem in the logic:iterate tag operation. It is meant to perform a looping operation in a better way. And as you say it is doing that well. The binding of data to the form bean is done with the html: tags. I anticipate the problem should be there. Can you let us see the part of your code in the page.

This looks like a situation where it may be appropriate to use "indexed properties". See this entry in the JavaRanch Struts FAQ for more information on how to do this.
