Input field in HTML App. jQuery mobile?

Hi,
i have an input field in my html app.
It has rounded corners. I'm not sure why, but i assume it's jQuery mobile that beautyfies it.

Very nice but there are situations where the field is moved.
I think the reason is the OS that tries to apply this little slider for moving the cursor within the text.
Is there a way to prevent that or is there something i missed to implement it properly?

Thanks Chris

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
