Basic Java server connection and consumption example required

Hi

Trying to find a basic server side as vanilla Java as possible example for connecting to a Websphere queue and consuming messages as possible. Been trawling the web and maybe I am not putting in the correct search phrases but cant find anything that is a complete demonstration. The ones I have found are either using an applet, or the code is incomplete and I get errors. I have found the IBM documentation but even here I am getting errors and I do believe that most of the issues are down to being a newbie. My java skills arent the best (I am a Microsoft based person).

As I mentioned, the project this will sit in, is a vanilla Java system, no frameworks and I have to try and fit in with that
