Given a choice between convenience and the environment, which would you choose? Please respect the environment.

I couldn't agree more preserving nature. I am a huge nature lover. But at the same time, it is also fact that, if you always think about environment/nature then there would not have been much advancement in human civilization. I think there we should maintain balance between them.

I agree. We should maintain balance between them. I’m not against advancement in human civilization, however, this advancement should not make us turn blind eye to the environment.

I'm sure we'll come up with a humane way to stabilize world population when we get to 10 billion people on this planet.

In my view
1)By making one kid for one pair (Husband-wife) policy all over the globe.
2)One wife for one man (one to one not many to one)
3)Take less taxes and provide extra facility to the parents and kid who follow 1 kid policy.
4)put more taxes who has more than one kid (if more than one kid born like twins that should be keep as exceptions)

Big wars are very effective at this.

More seriously, its well established that as women become more educated, the average family size decreases. So send the women to school.

By making one kid for one pair (Husband-wife) policy all over the globe.

that may sound like a good idea, but it implies a one world government(a New World Order), an idea espoused by a "secret" organization i will not name. i'm sure some of you know who i am referring to. they are also proponents of eugenics(killing off everyone they deem inferior). Hitler also believed in these ideas and look what happened.
