Part 2 project scope question

Hello,

I am starting to design my system for part 2. I have a question about the scope of the project. Is it OK to extend the business scope of the project beyond the given use cases in order to support my assumptions? These assumptions in turn support some or all of the given use cases.

Thanks

Yes. I wouldn't extend it too much because that's more work. But if something essential to your answer is missing, do add it.
