how do i retrieve back the previous link ?

good day to all,

say i have 2 modules(module_A , module_B), each module have search, add, update, list page

in module_B add page, i have a shortcut to module_A add page, all i want is if the user click on the shortcut to module_A add page, and then save data and if data saved successfully, it will come back to module_B add page.

the challenge is module_A add page already have action show if success it will go list page, what is the best way to settle this scenario?
