How to configure jbossmq state to use database table instead of file?

I am using Jboss 4.2.x and want to configure jbossmq state to use database table instead of file.

When a jbossmq-state.xml file is empty (0 KB), the JMS functionally goes offline.
I want to use database table instead of the file which will be more reliable.
