What is the best app for accessing your desktop PC from your iPad?

I've been using SpashTop Streamer, but it seems a bit buggy - meaning sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. It also prompts me at my PC to update it more often than I'd like. This makes me a bit nervous, since I'm not sure if I can trust the publisher with my PC or not. What do you use?

Not sure what you mean by "access".

For file sharing I'm using Dropbox. And Evernote for notes and documents.

Ah..Splashtop Streamer is an app I've installed on my iPad 2, and I've also installed it on my PC. It works like Go To My PC, from my iPad. Here's a pic of my computer desktop from my iPad....

Ah, now I understand. I'm not using anything for that. Haven't seen the need yet.
