Consuming Axis 2 service with non-axis client

I have written an Axis 2 service and i am trying to consume it with Jax-ws. But the problem is: I was always getting null response. I used a simulator and observed that i am getting correct soap response but looks like the client was not able to parse the response correctly.

I looked in online at some sources and observed that Axis 2 service is only compatible with Axis clients. Is this true ? I don't think so ??

Please, suggest if there are any other extra parameters i will have to set in the WSDL such that it will be compatible with all the clients ??

Since the whole idea of SOAP is to use a universal syntax and be independent of the implementing language, you should look for your problem elsewhere.

What does "null response" mean?

What is the source of your client?

Hi!
What kind of client is the "non-Axis" client?
Null results may indicate namespace problems in the responses. Use soapUI or similar tool and examine the XML schema from the WSDL to ensure that the XML received by the client indeed adheres to the XML schema.
Best wishes!
