Distance MCA for Working Professionals

I am working as Software Engineer in Major IT company in India (which ranks 3rd position in India) in Java/J2EE/Flex, but my education background is BCA and I have 2+ years of experience. Now I am planning to persue MCA via Distance Education. My question is will that distance MCA will have value if I persue while I am working? Due to unfortunate financial problems in my home I couldn't join regular MCA which forced me to join job. Now I want to continue my education via Distance, say I stay in the same company for around 3 years and complete my MCA from Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education and change job after 3 years, will there be any value for that MCA or should I quit job and continue MCA in regular mode (which takes another 3 years to complete) and also my salary is too low (Rs 1.8 Lakh/Annum). So experts what do you suggest/recommend?

I would say, that would depend on the company. Some companies are OK with distance education, some are not. If you have any specific companies in mind, you might want to ask friends to find out/ find out yourself what that particular companies policy is. (Please note company specific discussions are not allowed on the Ranch.)
And then there are companies which are interested in what you really know, than what academic certifications/degrees you might hold. At the end of the day, it is for you to choose, which path you wish to follow.
