Unable to get a physical connection from the database

Dears,

I have developed web application using servlet and JSP, and have deployed on OC4J application server, i have used it and it is working fine... but after a period i got this error:

Unable to get a physical connection from the database...there are no connections available

how can i fix this problem.

Are all connections to the DB properly closed after they're being used?

Can you show the database code from where you are getting the exception.
