How to Use Property Files with Jetty Plugin?

Does anyone know how to configure maven so that specific directories and the property files within them are added to the classpath when the "jetty:run" command is executed?

Shouldn't all of that go into your WAR file? And thus be part of your project description in the pom.xml.

A specific description of what you want to accomplish might help us provide a better response.
