I'm shocked to realized that a machine without java installed cannot view my applet on their browsers.
They show blank page and even skip that part.
However, Google Chrome has an outline of the applet and tell the user that they need to install java to view that applet. IE and Firefox do not do this.
How do I make IE and Firefox, for instance, tell the user that they need to install java to view it --> supposed user never heard of java before.

I think if you use the deployJava.js script to deploy your applets, it will ask users to install Java if it's missing.

I've done as Tim Moores suggested, but why there's a write space (ugly big horizon bar) on the top of the page on Firefox, while IE and Chrome don't have this issue???
