Hi,

Need help to open a web page using servlet. But the requirement is as follows.

The web page which will open should be opened by using the servers internet/intranet connection, not the clients internet connection.
i.e the client doesnt have access to the web page/ip address, only it can be opened on the server.

Thanks.

Nothing prevents you from using a java.net.HttpURLConnection in a servlet the same way you would use it in a client. Naturally you must provide for handling the various error conditions.
