Deployment diagram..sooo many ways to do it..which one is correct?

I have failed in delivering a good enough deployment diagram. I have compiled a list of deployment diagrams I have found, and each of them specify different level of details. Anyone that has passed the exam than could recommend any of the following as a start when creating my own improved deployment diagram?

- More details required
- Missing/Confusing deployment of components/ear/war/ejb-jar, Firewall deployment missing details, missing # (virtual) CPUs assigned per tier.
