and what is best ste for learning the liferay

You can download the first chapter of Portlets in Action which can give you a good starting point for learning Liferay.

If your looking for an easy way to learn developing Liferay portlets' properly. There is no shortcut. Take the time to learn the sample portlets and understand the frameworks.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
