i haven't tried the game yet, and free to play doesn't mean you wont have to buy a client eventually, but check out the intro movie.

I never took notes in college. That's how I got a 4.0 the first 2 years, and a 3.5 the second two years.

i am seeing a pattern here. they always say your email address is invalid. or after saying you user name is ok they say it's not. so you can't actually create an account to "play for free".

"impressive CGI" or "free to play" are nice -- I guess..... but the bottom line is, how good is the game?

And from the reviews, it doesn't look like it is worth the time.

they wouldn't let me create an account anyway. said my email address was invalid. i'm downloading a different one now. we will see how it is. i can't believe what they call a "slim client" nowadays 4.8 gigs. if i had a few dollars i would just get ultima online again. it is an old game but i got thousands of hours of fun from it. it has a 30 day free trial but unless you play nonstop you wont get too far in that time.

i ended up getting one called 4Story(only a 1.37gig download). i don't think i will like it as much as i did UO, but i'll give it a try. it is free after all. i guess when you get older you like the familiar. at least my P4 has no problem running the tutorial, will have to wait and see how it does in the real game.
