Compiled class password issue

Working on a project today I found that I could grep my password and see it with in compiled classes using VI. I'm sure other editors will show a
as well. Is there anyway to prevent this?

Yeah. Don't hard code passwords. Or if you have to, encrypt them first.
The mind is a strange and wonderful thing. I'm not sure that it will ever be able to figure itself out, everything else, maybe. From the atom to the universe, everything, except itself.
