Hi ranchers I'm new to this site. Recently I started studies for SCDJWS exam. So I'm going to buy J2EE Web Sercives - by Monson book. But I could find only J2EE 1.4 version of this book. But my exam is on J2EE 1.5 I guess. So I want to know whether there is a latest version of this book. Or any other text book recommendation. Please Help.

Hi!
Right, the Monson-Haefel book is already eight years old and there is not a more recent version.
It is still very good, but do skip the areas on JAX-RPC and perhaps also UDDI, depending on the version of the certification you are aiming for.

If you haven't found it already, do have a look at my (free) electronic book: http://www.slideshare.net/krizsan/scdjws-5-study-notes-3085287
It is written for the Java EE 5 version of the web service certification, but I believe that most parts are still valid for the Java EE 6 version.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
Best wishes!
