We are looking for an exceptional Senior HTML5/JavaScript Web developer to join the Business Intelligence team. We are responsible for helping our team grow by leveraging its data for all aspects of its business. As part of the BI Team, you will be responsible for developing next generation of BI Tools to better mine and deliver the right information to the right person. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including product design, architecture and system design, development, testing, deployment, and support, as well as have the opportunity to learn about the Financial Services industry.
Our suite of end-user products run on Web and Mobile platforms, utilizing Groovy on Grails as web framework and JavaScript MVC as a client framework. We have a service-based Java architecture and rely heavily on open source technologies such as Jetty, Spring, memcached, and MongoDB.
You are a good fit for this role if:
You’ve studied Computer Science or Engineering in college and are proficient in Java and JavaScript
You’ve built a MVC website using Rails, Grails, Django, ASP.NET MVC and are a fan of jQuery
You’re a regular user of StackOverflow, GitHub, or BitBucket
You’ve contemplated or have built an iPhone, Android, Blackberry, or Windows phone app in your spare time
You’ve contemplated running application designed for node.js, Google App Engine, Amazon EC2, RackSpace, Slicehost, or Heroku
You’re curious about functional programming and heard of Clojure, Scala, F#, Haskell, or Erlang
You will use Eclipse, NetBeans, or Idea but have a subversive desire to revert to vim or emacs
You have experience working with BAs, Designers, Testers, Sales people, Subject Matter Experts, System Admins, and others in a cross-functional team
You want to be recognized and rewarded for your hard work and contribution to a project
