it seems obvious to me. the birds come out sans wings and legs.


I never took notes in college. That's how I got a 4.0 the first 2 years, and a 3.5 the second two years.

Angry Birds is a video game, primarily for mobile devices, in which you slingshot ball-shaped birds and try to knock down buildings. The birds in the game look very much like the birds coming out of the factory in the above comic. The comic speculates that removing the birds' legs and wings is what caused them to be angry, though those of us hopelessly addicted to this ridiculous game know that it's actually because evil pigs stole their eggs.

Greg summarizes it nicely. It helps to know that "wings and drumsticks" are parts of a chicken commonly served as fingerfood in bars - precisely those parts that the Angry Birds are missing.
