Finding out the number of Active Session in a distributed application

We are using tomcat as the server where our application is deployed.There are multiple instance of tomact is there in multiple server.This is load balanced.The application is a spring based application.
We are trying to find out the number of active session per server.Is there a way to find it out.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
