how to do this with JList ?

i have seen application's where people have used jlist or similar thing to present the information instead jtable
but the strange thing was , in that the jlist has a column name along with data ir rows
how to achieve such look ?
i have searched the java tutorial but didn't find what i was looking for

Read the API for JScrollPane. The sketch should give you an idea, but if it still doesn't click follow the link to the tutorial on How to Use Scroll Panes.

Sounds like a single column JTable to me. At least this is the easiest way to do this.
