Cannot find any information on property 'page' in a bean of type 'my_package1.NoteSet'
That's because there isn't any property named page in the bean. Bean properties are defined by the property getters and setters, not field names.
And, the time is long long passed when anyone should be putting Java scriptlets into a JSP page. That's a very poor practice that has been discredited for almost 10 years now and is no longer acceptable.
