Do I need to purchase a training?

I have passed the SCJP exam 3 days ago, and I want to take the developer exam now...
I have checked oracle website for developer exam and I found that I need to purchased a training online-course in order to take the exam and the assignment. is this right?
by the way, the cheapest online-course in oracle site is about 700 USD which is too much!!
