problem in Taglib in jsp

The below code is my jsp file

The below code is my java file.its in "kad" package

The below code is my .tld file


When i run jsp file in tomcat server,i got the bellow Exception


An error occurred at line: 42 in the jsp file: /sample.jsp
The type kad.FirstTag is not visible

Thank GOD! I switched to Struts2 within a few months of starting web-app development and I myself had this problem long time ago. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nothing is urgent in this forum.

Have you tried to set the visibility of your FirstTag class to public?
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
