Wow. It appears this book is about the stuff they don't teach us in school, like how to deal with [gasp!] people. In this economy, anything that may help someone get and hold a job is certainly welcome.

I agree that these topics are usually not covered in school.

In fact, you could consider this book to be set of brick walls that I have run into (at least, the ones I have seen so far).

Are those topics a sort of “know how” rather than “know what”? That is the sort of thing you cannot learn by being told about, but by doing it (with the help and guidance of somebody who does “know how”). Programming is a sort of “know how” topic. You can only learn it by doing it. Similarly handling other people.
