In reading some of the samples of 12 Essential Skills for Software Architects there are a lot of cross over topics that are also important in project management. As a certified PMP and a software engineer, what are the chapters that would be most prudent to read first?

Hi Patty,
I agree there are a lot of cross over topics for project management.
For all of my projects, forming a partnership with the project manager is essential to succeed in delivering a project.
I tried to order the book in order of essential skills – it starts with relationship skills and moves on to personal skills and finally concludes with business skills.
The chapters are written such that you should be able to skip around and focus in on areas that interest you or are areas that you need to work on (at least for me, these two area usually don’t overlap).
Thank you for the question!
