With the current state of the world economy and what seems an ever increasingly likely recession again in Europe do you think that those involved in Software Jobs will have to evolve their skills to ensure job security in an ever increasingly volatile period of time?

Or do you think that those with the skills you have listed as the 12 Essential Skills can have an increased positivity and confidence for the future regardless?

Hi Daniel,

I believe evolving your technical skills and your soft skills are both important.

From a technical perspective, you need to evolve your technical skills to stay relevant.

From a relational/business perspective, you need to evolve your soft skills to stay connected to those around you as well as with the business.

Good question!
