I'm trying to download computer games for my Mac computer. I checked out iTunes, but it seems that there are only games for iPhone or iPad, neither of which I have. I want something for the COMPUTER. At the local store they are selling cards that you can use to download stuff, you know, type in the number on the card. Is there anything for the computer, or is it just iPhone and iPad?

iTunes will only have apps for iOS. For Mac apps, you can check out the Mac App Store -- assuming you are running Snow Leopard or Lion.
Failing that, search on sites such as Amazon or MacMall.

If you have a game in mind, you can check its website to see how you can get it, via the AppStore or their own process.

there's a site called macgamestore.com .. you can check it out as they have a lot of games available for Mac
