Why should I get this error during tomcat startup? I was under the impression that the JDBC driver would be automatically referenced as I use Spring JPA template in my project. Seems not to be the case. Do I have to copy the JDBC driver to tomcat lib directory?

Did a rm -R / to find out that I lost my entire Linux installation!
Got rid of the above error as well. There was a version conflict with the xwork-core.jar. Two different dependent libraries tried using a different version of the same jar which gave rise to the error above.
