I assume the key to understand patterns in depth is only thru practical which means java code. There are examples of code provided in under here- http://java.sun.com/blueprints/corej2eepatterns/Patterns/ServiceToWorker.html
Do you know if it is possible to download the whole application used to demonstrate J2EE core patterns?
