over-zealous idle timeout

Lately it seems I'm constantly having to log back in. I haven't measured, but it seems like after about 15-20 minutes of idle time, the site logs me out. I don't think it used to happen that quickly (3-4 months ago). It's very annoying to have to log in so much. This isn't a bank, after all. :-)

Any chance of getting the timeout bumped up to like, an hour, or a week? Or making it configurable?

Thanks,
Jeff

You could just check the "Log me in automatically" checkbox when you log in the next time...

I could if I wanted it to log me in automatically, yes. But I don't. I just want it to keep me logged in for a longer time once I log in, manually.

Although, truth be told, I'll probably just eventually get irritated enough that I'll decide auto-login is a lesser evil than premature timeout and do just that.

We do want to fix this, as this causes annoyances for a few people. Unfortunately we have a limited number of volunteers to work on the software, so I cannot tell you when this might be fixed.
