Changes to Java code while moving to UTF-8 Oracle

Hello All,

Our application uses Java on Weblogic and Oracle 10g. We are using Oracle thin drivers for JDBC.
We will now be moving to UTF-8 character set for the Oracle 10g database.
My question is: Will this require any code changes in Java?
My understanding is that the Oracle thin driver transparantly takes care of the changes in character set of the Oracle database for UTF-8. So there should be no code changes required.
Please let me know about this if possible.

Thanks a bunch!

Rishi
