Do html tags support "focus" demand?

yes, on the html:form tag there is an attribute called focus you can set it to a property on the form:
example your ActionForm has a property on it called name
<html:form action="/myAction" focus="name"> Enter Your Name: <html:text property="name"/> <html:submit/> </html:form>
in that example the cursor will be put on the "name" text filed when the page loads.
