Flex Remote Object with Spring MVC

Hi,

Right now my flex application uses HTTPService to integrate with Spring Framework in the middle tier, where i pass a simple URL and obtain modelAndView Object and do my processing.

I intend to move my from HTTPService to Remote Object. could someone suggest if this is feasible. I have few transactions where there is transfer of files from server to flex, i guess i need to stick back to HTTPService in such scenerios.

Any Suggestions on this
