Is it possible to set an struts 2 Action as welcome-file?

Ok! It seems that it isn't A redirect from a jsp. Isn't there a better way. Isn't this a little ugly?

It does seem like there should be a better way, but this is how I have always done it.

I believe that in any web application there always has to be first page which has to be a physical page . ie a jsp or html and it cannot be an action.

Adding to what Abhilash Geroge Said,

From Servlet V2.4, they added a "servlet" to be configured as a welcome file. I believe the same way it could also be possible. But not sure!!
