Browser back button issue in firefox, safari and chrome

form values are getting cleared on browser back button in firefox, safari and chrome. it works good in IE. if i refresh after the back button the data show up again. did anyone come across this problem? i used <redirect/> for each navigation rule in my faces-config.xml to keep up the url. i'm using jsf1.2 facelets and richfaces...

finally... i found the reason but i'm not sure why it is doing that...
i have used richfaces <rich:ajaxvalidator> tag for validation on the components. this is causing the issue...
for now i'm deleting this tag and using java script to get my functionality...
