Need Tutorial for WebServices for a begginer

I recently got into project and i am good at core java and JDBC.
My superior assigned me to learn spring,Hibernate frame works , any how now i am bit familiar with those frame works .
>Now i got assigned with webServies using JAVA and i have nill knowledge of WebServices .I gone through many websites but didn't get a good one.
>So,Expecting some suggestions to how to start webServices and what are the prior knowledges i should have to learn WS.
>Suggest me some good online tutorials to learn WS using JAVA.
>Suggest me some good books to start with WS.
