Hi,
LinkedIN has a section where you can put your certifications. However, sometimes people put a major certification such as the architects certification (or PMP) in more than one place on their linkedin. For example, they might have their "professional headline" as: Software Engineer, Certfied Java Architect.
Just wondering what most people who have the certification do?
Thanks
Mods - move to careers section if you think more appropriae.

Good question. I would say its upto the individual...
In my case, in the summary, I have mentioned 'Java Programmer/Architect' and in the 'Specialities' as well as 'Honors and Awards' sections, I have mentioned 'OCMJEA 5.0'

Ranga.
SCJP 1.4, OCMJEA/SCEA 5.0.

In my opinion, 'OCMJEA 5.0' is not a good way to communicate.
Many years ago, a recruiter warned me about needless acronyms on my CV.
Also, as a hiring manager I see bad communication and lack of clarity when someone is describing something obscure using an acronym
E.g. some guy's CV states he worked on the XENOPS project for their client using OCMXUP with XXW-10 server. It's just nonsense.
It is best clarity to refer to the exam on LinkedIn's Certification Section and CV in English ('Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect' [albeit yes, EE is an acronym]) rather than 100% acronym ( 'OCMJEA 5.0')
